Guernsey Tariff Change FAQ's
Please read through some of the most frequently asked questions regarding the changes to the gas tariff in Guernsey.
This will take affect from the 31st of January this month, this will be shown on the reverse side of the bill when you receive your next one.
Our last price increase was in November 2022. There are several factors that are driving the increase. Inflationary pressures on operating and importation costs, high interest rates impacting on our capital investment programme and the continued volatility in the wholesale gas market mean that we need to increase our prices.
No, this will automatically apply to your bill, if you wish for a more accurate bill you can always submit a reading via the website, this will be shown on the reverse side of the bill when your due to receive this.

*Figures based on basic domestic tariff with average usage of 7,500kwh and inc. GST where applicable
